MEDICAL IP, an AI-powered digital twin solutions company, is advancing medical education with its 3D digital anatomy education platform. By combining interactive exploration of human anatomy with experiential content and medical imaging, the company aims to make anatomy education more accessible and useful across teaching settings.
MEDICAL IP, led by CEO Sang Joon Park, announced on October 20 that it had exhibited and demonstrated MEDIP BOX at the 76th Annual Meeting of the Korean Association of Anatomists, held October 15–16 at Hotel Susung in Daegu, South Korea.
MEDIP BOX is an educational platform featuring approximately 6,500 anatomical structures in 3D. It helps learners understand complex human anatomy by exploring the locations and spatial relationships of organs, bones, and muscles.

At the meeting, the company introduced new content designed to increase learner engagement and understanding. The “Human Body Tour” offers an immersive experience that allows users to explore anatomical structures as if traveling through the body. The “Bone Learning Mode” uses visual content to help learners study bone shapes and key anatomical features.
The company also demonstrated learning features that integrate medical imaging. Through “Radiological Anatomy” and “Cross Section,” attendees explored how learners can compare 3D anatomical structures with actual medical images. These features support teaching that spans basic anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, and the interpretation of clinical images.
MEDICAL IP plans to incorporate feedback from faculty members and researchers at the meeting to improve the user experience, expand curriculum-specific content, and develop more classroom use cases.
Adoption by educational institutions continues to grow. MEDIP BOX has been introduced at 30 educational institutions in South Korea. Four universities—Seoul National University, Jeju National University, Kyungpook National University, and Kangwon National University—have made repeat purchases to expand their installations. The platform has also been sold in five countries outside South Korea, broadening its international presence.
“It was meaningful to hear directly from anatomy educators and discuss how MEDIP BOX can support their teaching,” said Sang Joon Park, CEO of MEDICAL IP. “We will continue developing features and content that deliver tangible benefits to instructors and learners in the classroom, contributing to the advancement of digital anatomy education.”
