MEDICAL IP Digital Anatomy Platform ‘MEDIP Box’ Debuts Globally at the IMSH 2026

[Partnering with BT Inc. to Set a New Standard in Anatomy Education]

A technology that heralds a paradigm shift in anatomy education was unveiled at IMSH 2026, the world’s largest conference on simulation in healthcare. MEDICAL IP (CEO: Sang-joon Park), an AI-based digital twin company, announced that, together with its partner BT Inc., it has unveiled its digital anatomy platform ‘MEDIP Box’ for the first time on the global arena.

The IMSH (International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare) is the most prestigious platform, which gathers medical education experts from all over the world to share cutting-edge simulation technologies and educational methodologies. At the heart of this global medical education scene, MEDICAL IP captivated the IMSH audience with its unique, immediately applicable to the field technology through practical hands-on sessions and interactive exhibits.

MEDIP Box is a digital anatomy education platform, which provides a precise 3D recreation of over 6,500 human anatomical structures. Not only does it enable repetitive anatomy learning in a VR environment, but also fundamentally changes the entire paradigm of anatomy education by integrating comparisons with actual cadaver images, cross-sections, and radiological anatomy. Professors and students can share the practical training process in real time via mobile or tablet devices connected to the same network, allowing for highly immersive and efficient learning in large-audience classroom settings. With multilingual support in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, and Korean, MEDIP Box is establishing itself as a global standard anatomy education solution, which can be immediately implemented in any part of the world.

In particular, MEDIP Box’s ‘Radiological Anatomy’ feature, which combines CT and MRI medical images with 3D anatomical structures, drew significant attention at the exhibition. Educators were deeply impressed by the technology, which allows to see actual human anatomy structures in 3D on top of the medical image layer, stating that it triggers an instant understanding of “which part of the body the medical image corresponds to.” The feature was further evaluated: “Intuitive interpretation of 2D images into 3D structures through AI is integrating medical image interpretation and anatomy into a single context.”

Last year, MEDICAL IP established a supply system through specialized distributor contracts in addition to the existing direct sales method in order to expand MEDIP Box’s domestic medical education market.

As part of that effort, MEDICAL IP signed a distribution agreement with BT Inc., a company with over 18 years of experience in the medical training simulator industry in Korea, in the first half of 2025, and completed a supply contract for an initial batch of 10 units. These units were delivered primarily to medical schools and health & nursing educational institutions across Korea. Positive reviews on practicality and usability in real-world educational settings as well as a high level of the contents’ completion continued, so a contract for an additional 40 units was signed last year, brining the total number of units sold to date to 50.

Building on this foundation, the company has moved on to introducing the solution to overseas educators directly at the IMSH. It plans to use this opportunity to gradually expand MEDIP Box’s presence in the global market.

MEDICAL IP’s CEO, Sang-joon Park, stated: “At the IMSH, we have been able to confirm that MEDIP Box is not a mere auxiliary tool, but it can play a practical role as a ‘core digital contents platform’ in the simulation training environment,” reaffirming his ambition to “lead the global standard by reflecting the field’s vivid needs.”

Meanwhile, having have launched its sales only last year – in 2025, MEDIP Box has already been introduced to over 20 medical and health science educational institutions in Korea within a short period of time, and is rapidly expanding. Furthermore, sales have been expanding in Turkey and the Middle East & Africa region, and most recently, in India.
