MEDICAL IP Coming to CES 2023… Introducing Its Metaverse-based Medical IT Tech

MEDICAL IP Co., Ltd. (CEO, Park Sang Joon) participated in the world's largest IT exhibition 'CES 2023' held in Las Vegas, USA from the 5th to the 8th.

During this event, MEDICAL IP aims to strengthen its presence in the medical sector and expand into the global market by introducing its medical image-based digital twin implementation technology and medical metaverse technology.

The products that MEDICAL IP introduced during this year’s CES include ▲medical image-based digital twin implementation AI software 'MEDIP PRO' that has already been cleared by major overseas certification authorities such as the US FDA and European CE, and ▲a medical metaverse platform developed for anatomy education called, 'MDBOX'.

A company official said, "MEDICAL IP’s original medical solutions are the result of convergence of various cutting-edge technologies such as AI segmentation and analysis, VR(virtual reality), AR(augmented reality), and metaverse based on 3D medical image data." MDBOX, which was newly introduced, is a platform that can conduct immersive hands-on training on anatomical structures within the metaverse space and is generating a noteworthy buzz in the field of medicine.

MEDIP PRO and MDBOX are built from technologies that maximize the utility and value of medical data by applying cutting-edge IT technology on medical images such as CT and MRI and implementing human anatomical information as a digital twin.

Based on medical AI technology that quickly and accurately 3D segments and analyzes organs and lesions found on medical images, the company digitizes anatomical structures to enable them to be used in 3D virtual space. Their product lineup is based on this source technology.

Medical IP provides solution for human anatomy education that can replace Cadaver workshops increasing the effectiveness and usability of medical IT technology.
