MEDICAL IP is drawing attention by unveiling the ‘Medical Metaverse Solution’, which combines 3D modeling, CAD/CAM design, and XR (extended reality) technology with medical image AI segmentation technology at the forefront.

MEDICAL IP participated in the 37th KIMES 2022 held at COEX until the 13th and Medical Korea 2022 hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

At this event, medical image-based digital twin implementation technology, a platform for surgical navigation that expanded patient’s anatomical structures on augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technology, as well as a medical metaverse anatomy table were introduced.

The product that received the most attention is ▲Medical Augmented Reality (AR) platform, ‘MEDIP PRO AR’.

‘MEDIP PRO AR’ implements the patient's organs in the surgical site and can be used as a navigation system for interventions and surgeries. As the first medical device to which AR technology is applied in Korea, it has completed the certification by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

In addition, by exhibiting the ▲Metaverse Anatomy Table, 'MDBOX', which allows you to experience and learn about 1,000 anatomical structures in a 3D virtual reality space, Medical IP presented an educational solution to replace the cadaver for anatomy practice with low utility. In fact, MDBOX has recently signed supply contracts with multiple medical schools.

MEDICAL IP plans to actively inform medical staff and industry officials of the medical technology and product lineup developed by MEDICAL IP as participating in various exhibitions. The main goal is to introduce medical solutions beneficial throughout the entire medical cycle, including medical education, surgery and treatment, disease prediction and prevention, and clinical research.
